Queue management for visa and immigration service centers

High-volume document services, with order visitors can trust.

Applicants scan a QR code at check-in, get a token and follow their turn on their own phone - so a packed waiting room doesn't feel like the only way to hold a place. Your staff call the next applicant from one screen, per counter or service.

Create it now, claim it later. One queue is free for as long as you want it.

In short

A visa or immigration center handles high volume and strict order at the same time - applicants need to trust that the line is fair, and staff need to keep document checks, biometrics and counters from backing up into one another.

High volume, and order people have to trust

Visa and immigration centers see some of the highest-stakes queues anywhere - a missed or mishandled turn can mean a lost appointment slot or a wasted trip. A single physical line can't show applicants their position with any certainty, and staff juggling document checks, biometric capture and counter service have no easy way to separate those stages from each other.

At check-in

Where a digital token helps.

An applicant checks in

A QR code at the entrance or check-in desk gets them a token for the right service, so each stage - documents, biometrics, counter - has a queue of its own.

They wait with a visible, fair order

Applicants check their live position on their phone instead of watching a crowded room, and can opt in to a push for when their turn is near.

Their turn comes up

Staff call the next token at the right counter, so the order is visible and consistent, not dependent on who's standing closest to the desk.

By service or counter

No fixed hardware required at every stage.

Each visa type, document stage or biometric station can run its own queue with its own QR code, so applicants aren't funneled through a single line that mixes every service together. A TV or monitor display is optional, and the staff screen runs on a phone or tablet.

Qrua does not ask applicants for a name, phone number or email to get a token, and staff can add a token for an applicant who has no phone.

Questions from service centers

Can applicants wait outside the center and keep their place?
Yes. Applicants scan the QR code, get a token and follow their position live on their phone. They can opt in to a mobile push when their turn is near.
Can we run separate queues for different visa types or services?
Yes. Each visa type, document service or biometric station can have its own queue with its own QR code, and the Free plan includes one queue. For more than one, see Pricing - Pro, coming after Beta, will support more queues.
Can an applicant join the queue only once their documents are checked?
Yes. Initial token state can be set so an applicant's token exists as soon as they arrive, but only joins the counter queue once staff confirm their documents are complete.
Do applicants have to give a name, phone number or email to get a token?
No. Qrua does not ask for a name, phone number or email. Staff can also add a token for an applicant who has no phone.
Do we need a screen mounted in the waiting area?
No. A phone or tablet runs the staff screen. A TV or monitor is optional, and it shows tokens for everyone nearby to see.
